Here's a topic that will be all about resources and software (with a priority on free, "legacy-compatible", (mostly) cross-platform and possibly open-source) useful for (commercial) game development and (some of) which is being used in this team. It's for both staying up-to-date and could be useful for other independent developers out there too. We'll (do our best to) update with a new post anytime one of them releases a new version.
